FAQ
Questions schools ask us
›What is EduRegistra?
EduRegistra is an online results-management platform for Nigerian primary and secondary schools. It keeps your student records, lets teachers enter scores, calculates totals, grades and positions automatically, and produces printable report cards.
›How much does it cost?
Registering your school, adding students and staff, and entering scores are all free. You only pay for result access PINs when you publish a term's results: ₦300 per student per term. See the pricing page for details.
›What is a result access PIN?
A PIN is a unique code that unlocks one student's result for one term. Your school buys PINs in bulk, prints them as slips or a class register, and gives them to students or parents. With the PIN and their student ID, they can view the result on the 'Check your result' page — no account needed.
›Can our school make money from PINs?
Yes. Schools buy PINs at ₦300 and commonly give them to parents at the suggested ₦500, earning about ₦200 per student per term. You set your own price for parents.
›Does it support our grading scale?
Yes. You define your own assessment breakdown (for example two tests and an exam) and your own grading scale. A WAEC/NECO-style A1–F9 scale is built in as a preset, and you can adjust every range, label and remark.
›Does second and third term include earlier terms?
Yes. Second-term reports show a simple average of first and second term; third-term reports show all three terms, an annual average and cumulative position. Students who joined mid-session are only averaged over the terms they were present.
›Who decides promotion?
Your school admin sets each student's promotion decision (for example 'Promoted to JSS 2') with an optional note. It appears on the third-term report card and the online result.
›Is our school's data safe?
Each school has a private workspace — no school can see another school's data. Teachers only see the classes and subjects assigned to them. Scores are locked once results are published, and every change is recorded in an audit history.
›Do parents need to sign up?
No. Parents and students only need the access PIN and the student ID to check a result. Only school staff create accounts.
›How do we pay for PINs?
By bank transfer. You request PINs in the app, transfer to the account shown, and upload your receipt. Once verified, your PIN balance is credited — usually the same day.
